The latest from writer-director Matt Johnson (Blackberry, Nirvana the Band the Show the Movie) dramatizes a pivotal summer in the life of a young Anthony Bourdain, played by Dominic Sessa (The Holdovers). A wayward and reckless young man dreaming of becoming a writer (described by Bourdain in his best-selling memoir “Kitchen Confidential” as a boy “badly in need of a good ass-kicking”), Anthony stumbles into a job at a fast-paced Provincetown restaurant led by a demanding chef (Antonio Banderas). The experience changes the course of his life.
