*OFFICIAL RULES:

1. HOW TO ENTER: To enter, complete the official entry form, providing your name and email address. You must make a selection in all 24 categories to qualify for the drawing. Incomplete entries will not be counted. All entries must be received by 11:59 am, Eastern Time, on March 10, 2024. Limited to one entry per person. Employees of the JBFC are ineligible to enter the drawing.

2. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Prize winner will be notified by email on March 11, 2024. If there is a tie, we will use the tie breaker question to select one grand prize winner.

3. Grand Prize is a private screening in The Adam R. Rose & Peter R. McQuillan Theater for up to 31 people. Screening must be booked in advance, and the film selection must be a New Release title that the JBFC is already screening. Each person in the party gets a free popcorn and soda. Screening must be scheduled by August 31, 2024 for a time slot that falls within Monday through Thursday, 1:00-7:00 pm.

In 2023, the cinematic landscape proved to be both unpredictable and thrilling, with JBFC proudly boasting a remarkable tally of 38 Oscar nominations for films featured in our lineup! Notable moments included our successful summer run of “Barb-enheimer”, our special screening of Alexander Payne’s The Holdovers with Payne in-person for a post-screening Q&A, and our sold-out preview screening in September of Killers of the Flower Moon followed by a post-screening Q&A with Oscar-nominated Costume Designer Jacqueline West, to name a few. In November, we hosted a retrospective of second-time Oscar nominee, Maite Alberdi’s works including a special Q&A and reception after a screening of The Eternal Memory which is nominated for Best Documentary Feature Film this year. Throughout the year, our selection showcased a diverse range of nominees, including all ten Best Picture nominees, with several having come back for re-runs.
