Jacob Burns Film Center to Receive Funding from the Regional Economic Development Council Initiative
Pleasantville, NY— December 18, 2018 — Today, Governor Cuomo announced that $87.1 million in economic and community development funding has been awarded through the Regional Economic Development Council initiative to the Mid-Hudson region. Included in this announcement is the awarding of $506,500 to the Jacob Burns Film Center (Pleasantville, NY), a nonprofit five-screen cinema and education center and one of the most successful suburban art houses in the country.
