The Sound of Music Sing-Along

Photo Op with Maria Von Trapp & free popcorn for costumes

These are a few of our favorite things: costumes, singing, and popcorn. Come in costume or “curtains” to either Sing-Along screening for a free small popcorn, plus a photo op with “Maria” before the screenings from 10:30–11:00.

A tuneful, heartwarming story, it is based on the real-life story of the Von Trapp Family singers, one of the world’s best-known concert groups in the era immediately preceding World War II. Julie Andrews plays the role of Maria, the tomboyish postulant at an Austrian abbey who becomes a governess in the home of a widowed naval captain with seven children, and brings a new love of life and music into the home.

All Ages screenings are just $5 for everyone—kids and adults alike. Enjoy a new family-friendly film each week on Saturdays and Sundays at 11:00AM, with the first Sunday of every month offering sensory friendly screenings.

"The last of the Rodgers-Hammerstein collaborations, The Sound of Music is the best screen version of their works."
Bob Thomas, Associated Press
"It is compounded of taste, excitement, heart and mind, and more than any other individual, the one who put it there and kept it there was Robert Wise."
James Powers, The Hollywood Reporter

This film is part of the All Ages series.
