- Kim Berns is a humorist, stand-up comic, writer, and producer of comedy shows and charity events. Kim is a radio host and podcast host of “What’s the Story’, and UnPaused; prior to that the ‘Cook and Comic’. She was the host and producer of the radio show, “Anything Goes”, for 7 years. She has performed all over the country, notably NYC at The Comic Strip Live, Eastville, The Stand, West Side Comedy Club and the Broadway Comedy Club. She has also performed at the Emelin Theater, Mohegan Sun Casinos Comix Roadhouse and The GUKO Comedy Club in Paris, France! In English! She is currently writing, producing and starring in a mockumentary entitled, Relentless with the cast of stand-ups and actors from the comedy world. She also teaches stand-up, most recently she completed a course with students at the Rye Arts Center. She has a BS in Journalism and Communications from the University of Texas and an MS in Business Communications from Northwestern University. After 14 years in corporate telecommunications in Chicago and WA DC as a Regulatory expert, state lobbyist and lobbyist to the FCC, Kim started her interior design firm, still known as Kim Berns Design. Kim resides in Rye with the humor source of three almost fully-fledged sons and an untamed rescue dog.
- Samantha Ryan (producer) is no stranger to the stage. Her experience includes formal theatrical training at Syracuse University, to development projects with Greenwich International Film Festival and The Emelin Theater, to performing comedy at NYC venues including The Comic Strip, Whiskey Cellar, Sugar Mouse and with Westchester collectives Berns & Berman Underground and The Comedy Ward. Her work is inspired by lived experience, intergenerational dynamics, and the rhythms of real conversation, with a focus on women navigating midlife transitions and the LGBTQ+ and otherwise underrepresented communities. Her stories live in the space between humor and danger, where laughter functions as both defense mechanism and truth teller."
