Pee-wee's Big Adventure

Co-written by Paul Reubens and Phil Hartman (Saturday Night Live), Pee-wee’s Big Adventure marks the feature debut of director Tim Burton (Batman, Frankenweenie), who stamps the entire film with his quirky trademark style. In the film, Pee-wee Herman (Reubens) lives an idyllic life in his bizarre home until someone nabs his most prized possession—a fire engine-red customized bicycle. He embarks on an epic cross-country search to find his lost love, not to mention more than a little adventure along the way. A perennial classic, Pee-wee’s Big Adventure remains an enjoyable film experience for children, as well as adults, over three decades after its release.

All Ages screenings are just $5 for everyone—kids and adults alike. Enjoy a new family-friendly film each week on Saturdays and Sundays at 11:00AM, with the first Sunday of every month offering sensory friendly screenings.

Mike Clark, USA Today
"Everything about Pee-wee's Big Adventure, from its toy-box colors to its superb, hyperanimated Danny Elfman score to the butch-waxed hairdo and wooden-puppet walk of its star and mastermind, Pee-wee Herman, is pure pleasure."
