In Carole King Home Again: Live in Central Park, director George Scott takes viewers back to Central Park on May 26, 1973. That night, singer and songwriter Carole King took the stage in front of an estimated audience of 100,000 fans – all there to welcome her back to her hometown. This concert film uses never-before-seen 16mm footage filmed by the movie’s producer, Lou Adler, to transport viewers to that unforgettable show and retrace King’s steps from an in-demand behind-the-scenes songwriter of hits like (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman and Will You Love Me Tomorrow to a performing artist who could entertain crowds of thousands in Central Park.
